What actually happens - sometimes it is cheaper to take away the PC, fix it and return it. Generally the total cost is £50 or less.

Offsite Repair: Pick up machine, effect repair, update virus definitions, remove spyware, update Windows with latest patches, remove junk files, repair and compact registry, test and re-install at premises. This is when PC Home Support is a bit too difficult or time consuming. Maximum cost £65 + parts (if required).
